How to prevent artwork thefts, what tricks smugglers use while smuggling the works of art out of the country, what skills customs officers use in order to expose them, how valuable artwork is protected in Croatian and in globally known museums, which part of the cultural heritage should be protected as a part of critical national infrastructure… These and other issues will be addressed at the second international Conference on Cultural Heritage Security – SIGArt 2018.
The conference will gather experts from various international organizations and institutions, ministries of culture, ministries of interior, representatives of global and Croatian museums and galleries, disaster preparedness services and police, as well as physical and technical security.
The first edition of the conference took place in Zagreb in 2014, gathering almost 100 eminent experts from the region and Europe dealing with protection of cultural heritage, such as ICOMOS, ICOM, UNESCO, representatives of foreign and local museums and galleries, representatives of the ministries of culture and ministries of interior, disaster preparedness services and representatives of the physical and technical security market.
This exhibition area gives an opportunity to present company’s program and equipment (computer, pin board, logo, leaflets, brochures, etc.) in the lobby in front of the conference hall.
